In fact, our buy agreements with all media specifically stipulate that you are entitled to any better deals that become available at anytime at no penalty or surcharge in rates, and all media companies and reps sign acknowledgment of this clause. Because media sellers earn less in sales commissions when a Media Negotiator or advertising agency is involved, some sales reps will try to scare you into believing that you will pay higher rates using Media Negotiator. Example:

Let’s say that you have budgeted $25,000 for a media campaign (your budget figure could be less or far greater, but for this example, I’m using an easy figure with which to work).

  • And let’s say you have chosen radio for this particular campaign (it could have been television or cable, outdoor, direct mail, Internet, or other media) for your market.
  • You negotiate your best deal with the radio station, and you receive a set number of commercials to air between certain hours.
